剑桥通用英语考试，面向12岁以上学生、职场人士等。分为五个级别，一级KET，二级PET，三级FCE，四级CAE，五级CPE。
其中KET、PET、FCE有分青少版、标准版。青少版面向在校学生，更多学生熟悉的话题；标准版更多工作类话题。
注：2020年KET、PET进行了改革，难度有所提高。
另外，在2020年考试安排表中，KET、PET只有青少版。
因为KET阶段属于英语学习的起步阶段，建议学生先打好词汇语法基础，再进行综合能力训练。
