2020版PET写作部分取消了句型转换题，Part 1改为邮件写作、Part2则变成话题作文和故事续写二选一，要求字数都是100字左右，时间限制在45分钟。
写作提分句型

这个句型不挑话题，基本可以用到绝大部分题目中，比如说：
当年重庆公交坠江事件中，起因是一位女乘客坐过了站打了司机的头，双方争执过程中，司机往左急打方向盘，导致公交车坠入江中。
这起事件很快受到了人们的关注，并且纷纷谴责该女乘客的行为。我们就可以说：
It became one ofthe most talked-about topics on social media,with many criticising the women being ridiculous.
去年东哥一事引起了许多网友的关注，最终以美方放弃对他的起诉而落幕，外媒是这样描写的：
Liu Qiangdong, the founder of JD.com, has becomethe most talked-aboutfigure after his arrest on suspicion of criminal sexual misconduct.
下面学习第二个“引起热议”的写作表达：
The editorial warned that the state needed new policies to deal withthe impact ofthe low birth rateonthe economy.This prompted much coverage and debate in the media.
[写作推荐]XX (has) prompted much coverage and debate in the media.这又是另一个可以用来描述某件事引起热议的表达.
其中coverage指的就是媒体报导,举个例子：
There’s been massive television coverage of the World Cup.有大量关于世界杯的电视报道。
详细的报道；深入的报道我们就可以说：detailed, in-depth coverage
比如说此前的孟晚舟事件受到了国际媒体极大地关注和报道，我们就可以用到以上学的两个写作句型，下面分别举例说明：

②The arrest of Huawei's chief financial executive Meng Wanzhouprompted much coverage and debate in the media.
[写作表达]The impact of A on B,表示A对B的影响，比如说人工智能对人们的日常生活产生了极大的影响，我们就可以说：
The impact ofartificial intelligenceonour daily life is immense.
再比如说人们总是担心未来技术的进步会对现有职业造成很大的冲击，我们就可以说：
Fears aboutthe impact oftechnologyonjobs have resurfaced periodically.
